We are very happy to welcome you to our Basilica web page. We have been praying together, working together and rejoicing together since 1838 here in Marietta.

Basilica Mission Statement
The Eucharistic Catholic Community of St Mary of the Assumption Basilica loves Jesus Christ above all things and our neighbor as ourselves. In our journey of Faith, our basilica family will be engaged and spiritually committed; fulfilling our vision through the values of the Gospel, prayer, fellowship, service, outreach and teaching.
Christmas Eve Masses will be celebrated at 5:00 pm, 7:30 pm and 10:00 pm. Please Note: The 5:00 pm Mass will not be a Children’s Mass this year.
Christmas Day Masses will be celebrated at 8:00 am and 10:00 am.
Please wear a face mask at all Masses, and while in the Basilica for the protection of yourselves and others. Do not remove your mask after entering your pew. Masks are available at the entrance of the Basilica for those who do not have one.
All Christmas masses will be live-streamed and stored for later viewing. Mass is also streamed to the Basilica YouTube channel.
